Motherhood changes the whole woman. Body and mind.

With most maternal care, your body and mind get treated separately. But I believe that you are one whole person, so I bring a wholistic perspective to your care during pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, and postpartum.

I’m Kailyn. I’m a personal trainer, therapist and “velcro mom,” with my baby attached to me most hours of the day.

I came to this work from both directions. I trained women for five years, and I kept running into the same thing: what was happening in a woman’s body was never only about her body. It was tangled up in everything she told me between sets: grief, marriage, exhaustion, stress, etc. I was only ever helping with half of her, so I went back to school for the other half.

Two Ways to Work with Me

I work in two separate practices, and you'll only ever be in one. But the training shapes the therapy, and the therapy shapes the training, so you get the whole of what I know either way.

Not sure which one you need? That’s exactly what the call is for. Tell me where you are, and we’ll figure out the right fit together.

THE BLOG

I write about motherhood honestly with topics like what I'm learning personally, what I'm seeing in my work with moms, and the things I wish we talked about more openly.

FOR BIRTH WORKERS & PROVIDERS

If you work with women through pregnancy and postpartum, (doula’s midwives, pelvic floor PTs, lactation consultants) I would love to teach your clients or your team about the intersection of mind and body (i.e. lunch-and-learns, workshops, and talks on preparing the body and mind, etc.)

Your clients leave feeling seen, your team leaves feeling equipped, and you’re the one who brought that to them.
